As my first topic thread here. Just a warning don't try to think about how the hell I ever get to half the ideas for topics that I do. It's not good for your mental health. lol.
So teleportation. It comes up half the sci-fi movies and you get the comedy sketches where something goes wrong. eg. simpsons, bart mixes with the fly. So on the hypothetical situation that teleportation was real and you couldn't enter a machine with another life form. Wouldn't you have to teleport naked? As most clothes contain natural fibres. Which, similar to another life form, would be capable of fusing to you in reformation at the other end.

I would agree in that situation, the thought of never being able to change my shirt because its fused to me is rather unsettling!!!! …… but! (Oh yes, the dreaded ‘but’) if the items were fused to you, then it would stand to reason that you would be fused to the item, by this I mean: the item is part of you, your part of the item. The fusion would have happened at a molecular level, so would this mean that you would have some control over said fused items? Or would the items be able to exfer messages to your brain (hot, cold, pain etc) Unfortunately my understanding teleportation (as a science) isn’t that good, just throwing out a couple more questions into Bloods already strange post!

But despite the natural fibres being fuseable to you, theres already a chemical reaction fusing them to man made fibres which would in no way be compatible with the human body. Plus theres no way of predicting the area in which it'd re fuse. It'd make sense that it would fuse to skin as it'd re construct in a close to reverse order in which you were taken apart to transport. But it could just as easily fuse to an internal muscle, such as your heart inhibiting it's movement causing a heart attack. Or it could simple fuse to your skin, but the un natural material thats fused alongside the natural material knitted into your muscle make up would then be treated as an "alien presence" you body would try to attack it or reject around it similar to a badly matched skin graft causing a break down of skin tissue.

Good point, and what a horrid image I had in my head!!!!! The teleportation would have to be done naked, at least until the Tech was updated to the point were it could distinguish the difference between the molecules that were being Exferd, and could write the code so the re-arrangement of the molecules were in the same place/order as they were at the beginning. Have you just watched the film The Fly recently or something? lol

lol, Nope. I just have alot of free time to think about stuff and have some weird ass dreams. So I come up with weird topics and lots of different explanations for hypothetical situations.

Tiz a good way to get interesting topics! I wouldn’t dare use any of my dreams for an idea to start a thread lol Could you imagine the outcome if there were and insect (or any animal for that matter) in there with you as well as the clothes, you would be one of two things 1) The best dressed Humanfly in the world 2) The ugliest collection of clothes you have ever seen!! But I have to say on a serious note I would like to look into this a bit more, think I’m going to dive into a bit of research about this and see if I can pull up some hypothetical facts (I love the way that sentence makes no sense lol)

1)you would not be able to control the clothing as it has no pain, cold, etc receptors nor is it conected to your brain function and it is a lifless part of you, kind of like your hair....kinda..... 2)teleportation has been deemed an inpossible science (to be done without ripping the creature being transported appart, in other words you'll most likely end up a husk of meat on the other side. 3) the fly would probabley end up the same as there is nothing to keep you in one peice if molecueles seperate and reform... 4)IF this is not true and you appear in one peice then the clothing would not fuse to youbecause it would have to stay in the exact same spot as it was when you teleported . 5) n_n

1)you would not be able to control the clothing as it has no pain, cold ,etc receptors nor is it connected to your brain function and it is a lifeless part of you, kind of like your hair....kind of..... For the most part this is true, but still it’s theoretically possible, the fusion could have unprecedented and unpredictable affects on the molecular structure of both items (body and fabric) 2)teleportation has been deemed an impossible science (to be done without ripping the creature being transported apart, in other words you'll most likely end up a husk of meat on the other side. It sure has, just as the world was flat, people would only ever communicate via letter, having light in a house with out a fire……….. you get my point ;D 3) the fly would probably end up the same as there is nothing to keep you in one piece if molecules separate and reform... ………. See response to point 1 4)IF this is not true and you appear in one piece then the clothing would not fuse to you because it would have to stay in the exact same spot as it was when you teleported . If that were the case, yes. All that star tricky stuff, beam me up Scotty and all that. If the proper technology was available, then the dangers of teleportation could be completely removed This is all hypothetical remember
